Overview

PromptHub is an open-source, local-first personal AI asset vault and Agent workspace. Organize prompts, skills, rules, MCP entries, plugins, model configuration, project assets, and Agent workspace files, then search, version, back up, sync, or distribute them across AI tools.

PromptHub keeps reusable Agent context in one place: prompts for task templates, skills and rules for behavior, MCP and plugins for tools, and model configuration and project assets for runtime context. Scan existing Agent directories, inspect supported files, and distribute assets by platform.

Skill Management

The built-in store provides curated AI Agent skills. Install them to multiple platforms with one click, discover existing SKILL.md files through local scan, and choose symlink, copy, or per-platform target directory modes.

Local-First

PromptHub keeps your data on your own machine with workspace files as the source of truth and SQLite as the local index. It works offline by default, and data leaves the device only when you explicitly enable sync, cloud accounts, or third-party model calls.

Professional Editor

A professional editor with Markdown syntax highlighting, variable templates, and supported configuration-file editing for reusable AI assets.

Version Control

Automatic version snapshots on every save. Supports diff comparison and one-click rollback. Manage versioned AI assets like code.

Multi-Model Testing

Compare mainstream LLMs side-by-side to choose a suitable model and configuration for each Agent workflow.

Full-text search powered by SQLite FTS5. Find prompts and other AI assets by title, content, tags, or asset type.

Export to JSON, YAML, or CSV. Easily integrate into your workflow or codebase.

PromptHub publishes desktop packages for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Check the download page and changelog for current formats, signing status, and release details, and confirm that a release asset matches your operating system and processor architecture before installing it.
